It owns 15 state of the art manufacturing facilities under 3 flagship brands - DUKES, TREFF and DYNAS.
RFPL recently set up a new facility featuring imported machinery to manufacture chocolates and is poised to establish another unit, with an investment of USD 20 million that will boast of equipment imported from Europe.
The company’s tremendous national presence is further amplified by the fact that it is able to penetrate the Tier II cities and rural parts of the country thanks to a branded and commoditised market. RFPL ventured into global exports in 1998 and has since spread its wings worldwide. Ankit Agarwal completed his Masters in Business Administration from the UK, and returned to India in 2007, to join the family business at Dukes. He brought in fresh ideas and a global perspective that helped to shape the company’s growth trajectory in the past decade.
In a short span of time, Ankit established his credentials as a successful business strategist who not only believes in setting standards of product excellence, but also has innovative thinking and a passion for execution. Breaking the stereo types, challenging the status quo and doing things differently are always a part of his DNA. He always looked into the future and embraced tomorrow.
Starting with the confectionery division, Ankit’s smart inputs have played a key role in turning Dukes into the largest lollipop manufacturer in the country. Dukes was named amongst the world's 100 Greatest Brands 2017-18 Asia and GCC, organised by AsiaOne magazine, with PwC as the process reviewer.
A few years ago, under Ankit’s leadership, Dukes upgraded its old technologies and supplemented them with automated, state-of-the-art European equipment and tools with AI Technology. This has given the company an edge over competition and made way for partnerships with global giants and MNCc like Hersheys, who are reputed for forging relationships with the best in the industry.
